THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE OUTDOOR EVENT!
QUESTIONS GUESTS MAY ASK...
1. Is there a charge to enter?
No, this is a free event but there are great shops to visit, food to eat and activities for the kids.
2. Where do can I park?
There is parking nearby at the Mt Airy Elementary school, north of the event, and in the community parking lot behind Main St on the west side.
3. What is a chili tasting kit?
At the information booth, around the middle of the event near City Hall, there will be chili tasting kits available for $5. Take your tasting kit to each of the chili cooks and they will give you a sample. In the tasting kit there is a cup, spoon and nut. Your nut goes in a jar at the booth of your favorite chili cook. The chili cook chili is available starting noon for most cooks ends when they run out, usually around 3PM.
4. Where else can I get chili?
You can also purchase chili at the MAMSA information booth after 11:30AM, at the food vendors and most restaurants downtown.
5. Can I bring my pet?
While this is a public event our pet lovers have found it is best to leave your furry friends at home. There is a lot of fire, congestion and loud noise and no place for your pets to relieve themselves.
6. Can I judge the chili?
YES!! All you need to do is send an e-mail to let us know who you are and which chilis you want to judge and we'll send you the time to be there and where you report. All judges must pre-register.
CookoffJudges@GMAIL.COM.

YES!! We always need more helping hands. Please contact us at
