Welcome to the official site of the Main Street Heat Chili Cookoff that happens every year, usually in April, in beautiful downtown Mt Airy, MD. 
This is an official International Chili Society sanctioned event.  


Join us for lots of great food, a beer garden, live music, activities for the kids, raffles and so much more!

Planning on coming to the Chili Cook-off and worried about parking?
Bowen's Bus Service will run a shuttle from the Carnival Grounds at the junction of Rt 27 and Twin Arch Road to the downtown Chili Cook-off. Simply park on the grass in the first two rows closest to Twin Arch Road and the bus will pick you up.
Shuttle service starts at 10 am and runs every half hour until 7 pm. Thanks Bowen's Bus Service.       

Want to know how to eat a lot of good chili for free?! How about judging!! If you are interested please e-mail  CookoffJudges@GMAIL.COM.  We will need your name, contact info and the types of chili you would like to judge.  You must be 18 or older to judge.
